The PC Agent Monitoring Server is a additional software for PC Agent and receives the sent records from the monitoring process of PC Agent. Only one setting is necessary in the configuration of the monitoring of PC Agent. As an additional feature this software can import, archive and open the record files with the file extension *.pca which was created by the monitoring.

The following settings are necessary in the configuration of the monitoring

Server (1)
The IP-address or host name, at which the server is available. A DDNS host name can be also defined, if the records should be sent over the Internet to the server.

All other settings are optional and not really necessary

Port
The port number of the server. This is normally on 45000, however can be changed in the server and in the monitoring process of PC Agent.

Check before for Internet connection
If exists a dial-up connection on the monitored computer, it is possible that the dial-up dialog is shown, if an connection to the internet is requested. To avoid this dial-up dialog, activate this option. Thereby is checked, if a connection to Internet exists before the connection setup.
